The hallmark of our program is a place where your child will feel nurtured, warmly welcomed, and cared for individually.
There is something for every child at Jewish Preschool of the Arts. Our use of the Montessori method will teach your child confidence through developmentally appropriate independence, and give them the opportunity to grow at their own pace. Through the Reggio Emelia method, the children explore the arts, loose parts, sensory play, and more, giving them freedom to try new things, get messy, and be a child in the fullest sense. Our monthly themes taken from our Tier 1 Creative Curriculum enhances math, literacy, science, fine motor, and gross motor skills, exploring the world of insects, simple machines, balls, rocks, and many other subjects,
Your child will be taught all of this through the beautiful lense of our Jewish heritage, teaching kindness, community, and giving them a foundation of Judaism such as holidays, stories, prayer, and the Hebrew alphabet. Each week we celebrate Shabbat with a Shabbat party and baking Challah, and each holiday, the flavor and themes are incorporated into all elements of our program.
Our teachers will give your child a 5-star experience, (the Louisiana Department of Education would agree as they gave 5 stars to our program in 2024 based on teacher observations). They are deeply caring, invested, and most have been with us from between 3-20 years.
