Our Early Childhood program is centered around developmentally appropriate activities that encourage the social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development of each child. The philosophy behind our curriculum is that children learn best by doing and playing. We believe that true learning requires active thinking and experimenting to find out how things work and to learn first hand about the world in which we live. Our center based classrooms provide hands-on opportunities for children to learn through play.

We keep a low teacher to child ratio to ensure that students are able to have as much individual attention as they need at any given time.

Based upon the socialization skills that the children acquired in our Toddler Program, our pre-school children are provided with an environment which has more clearly defined learning areas such as block play, dramatic play, art, manipulatives, math, science, and language arts. These areas contain developmentally appropriate materials which the children use through independent choice as well as through teacher directed learning.

Teacher directed learning time takes place in circle time and small groups throughout the day. Circle time includes story time, music and movement, and whole group ELA and Math activities. Students also receive education in Hebrew and Judaic studies, also through developmentally appropriate activities that students enjoy.

Children are exposed to the Alphabet and Aleph-Bet in circle time and centers so that they will develop reading readiness as they begin to familiarize themselves with letters and sounds. All teaching is done through exciting activities designed to foster a love for learning and excitement about coming to school.

We have a state-of-the-art outdoor playground where the children can enjoy large movement activities. We have outdoor art and science and sensory tables, in addition to bicycles, balls, and climbing equipment.
